Dr. Yvon Baribeau in 1989Catholic Medical Center executives promoted Dr. Yvon Baribeau as a top cardiac surgeon. In reality, they knew for years that the doctor had a troubled work history, and Baribeau ultimately settled 21 malpractice claims. The hospital and Baribeau said settlements are not an admission of fault.
